Thanks for bringing this important topic to our attention, Leigh. It's a sad day when classic literature that has stirred the hearts and minds of countless children are no longer welcome in classrooms.

I am reminded of the movie, Dr. Zhivago, where imagination and lofty ideals (or critical thinking) were sacrificed in the name of efficiency, "Political oppression", and functionality. The result was a population that may have been born of vision and passion but ended up a simple minded proletariat. May that not happen in America.
